Kevin Jones, is an Industrial Designer...and graduate of Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design and a minor in Art History.
A native of Chester, Pennsylvania, many know Kevin as the incredible Virginia Tech running back who brought the Hokie Nation to its feet time-and-time again as he sprinted down the field. Following an All-American collegiate career and seven years in the NFL, Kevin hung up the cleats and returned to Blacksburg to complete his degree.
Kevin most recently worked for Virginia Tech Athletics as an Assistant Athletics Director for Special Projects and Design - where he was integral in the conceptual redesign of Union Park at English Field, as well as the Merryman Athletic Center. Kevin also previously interned for USM - a renowned Swiss manufacturer of modular furniture, in addition to Scott Sports - Switzerland's premier outdoor sporting brand, where he worked on designing ski equipment and bicycles used in the Tour de France.
Kevin, is responsible for maintaining the overall vision of Joba by guiding the company as it strives to fulfill its mission.

Alex Barrette is an Industrial Designer and graduate of Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design.
Born in Quebec, Canada, Alex’s diverse international upbringing heavily influences his design aesthetic. His father was an engineer and his mother an artist. Together they taught Alex an appreciation for beauty in form and function and he knew at an early age he would be a designer.
Alex has extensive experience under his belt – interning at Naef Switzerland (modern toy company), Donald Blount and Associates (yacht design company), New Balance (footwear) and others.
Barrette is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Joba and works closely with the Joba team to maintain the firm’s vision.
Joba is comprised of a multidisciplinary group of creatives ranging from Industrial Design to Business Development to Engineering. Scientific studies prove that working with a group of professionals ranging in skill sets, cultures, and experiences allow for more creativity and paradigm shifting solutions. Joba utilizes the immediate community of intellectual professionals along with connections in industry to create the ultimate multidisciplinary team.
